WOMEN IN WORSHIP: The Alpha And Omega Edition Launched To Honor Veterans

Organizers of the annual all female minstrel night of worship experience Women In Worship on Tuesday 4th August, 2020 launched the much anticipated event. The launch activity held at the Teshie Orphanage witness the CEO of Genet Services and Curator of the event accompanied by a representative from Btl Africa and notable veteran minstrels such as the ageless Stella Aba Steal and the evergreen Tagoe Sisters to donate items to the orphanage home.

Addressing the press present at the event, Mrs Georgina Nettey outlined activities and lay down preparations prior to this year’s event, announcing that this year’s event would be held as a Semi-Virtual Experience, she also stated that, this year’s event is Themed “Alpha & Omega” (Run by the Holy spirit, God is the beginning and the end)

This year’s worship experience seeks to celebrate the Hard work of Gospel Minstrels who have obliged the gospel industry and ministry with dignified music and Christian morals over the decades; Dubbing it “The Honoring And Timeless Experience”.

Embellishing their honoring and timeless night with patrons by distinction will be Bernice Offei, Amy Amber Newman, Mary Ghansah, Diana Hopeson, Stella Aba Seal, Hannah Marfo, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Helena Rabbles, Tiwa of Yaw Sarpong Fame, Esther Nyamekye and Mama Esther, she added.

Disclosing few excitements embedded in this quest, Mrs Nettey emphasized on giving our veterans a Drive-in experience from our partner automobile company, Royal Couch Red Carpet Experience, video documentary on the lifecycle and musical voyage and other prime engagements such as holiday treats, spa and beauty makeovers etc.

The 2020 edition of the event would be held on Sunday September 20th, 2020 at 4pm sharp as a semi-virtual experience, to stream on Women In Worship official streaming platforms and other selected media platforms with limited tickets available for purchase.

Camidoh, Adina, KiDi, Others To Perform At Ghana’s Most Beautiful Grand Finale

TV3 Network, Ghana’s number one television station has released a tight list of top rated Ghanaian musicians to performing at this year’s finale of its beauty reality show, Ghana’s Most Beautiful. The performers include the multiple award winning musicians, Adina and Kidi, the sensational singer, Camidoh and Mentor Reloaded winner, Optional King. Legendary group, Praye, will also be performing on the night.

All is set for the big night as the debate continues on social media with people promoting and canvasing for votes for their favorite contestants. Who wins the ultimate prize and becomes the 2020 Ghana’s Most Beautiful Queen?

It promises to be a night of glitz and glamour accompanied by a fierce competition on Sunday 20th September 2020 when the six finalists mount the stage to compete in the grand finale of the 2020 Ghana’s Most Beautiful.

Shatta Wale Fled From A Live Clash; Feared To Battle Stonebwoy In A Freestyle Session

It was night full of total music as Ghana’s two “Elephants” in the music industry, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale faced-off in a 40 back-to-back sounds clash at the maiden edition of the Asaase Sound Clash which was organized by newly birthed entertainment, politics and business radio station in Ghana, Asaase Radio.

Hit songs of various acts were played simultaneously as they both cast as champions fighting for their establishment as the main honcho of the dancehall fraternity in Ghana. After 40 rounds of pound for pound music bout, Shatta Wale unexpectedly walked out of the auditorium where the program was held after performing Beyonce’s song Already.

This unwarranted exit of Shatta and his entourage raised teeming and great concerns amongst Social media users as fans have asserted that, Shatta Wale feared to battle with Stonebwoy in the freestyle session. Based on the reactions from the fans, Shatta Wale is a bad freestyler and would have become a laughingstock for a possible wack performance.

According to the organizers, there was supposed to be a freestyle session after the 40 songs but he evacuated the stage with immediate effect while the clash was in play. Meanwhile, Assase Radio has officially ended the clash and contrary to what most people expected, none of the acts who competed in this fiery-near-death lyrical battle was announced as the winner.

Art On The Beach – Weekly Art Exhibition Series Kicks Off

Ozzies Beach Palace has teamed up with TIC Ghana to introduce a weekly art exhibition dubbed ”Art on the Beach”. The two-day exhibition will give artists all over the country the opportunity to exhibit their works on a regular basis.

Ozzies Beach Palace aims to give its customers the full cultural experience with the addition of art to its already existing vibe of great live music and good food. The first edition kicks off this weekend with an art exhibition by Courage K. Hunke.

The art exhibition will be open on Saturday & Sunday (12th & 13th of September) from 12pm to 7pm each day. Ozzie’s Beach Palace is located at South Labadi Estate, adjacent to the Sandbox Beach Resort.

‘Get Kojo Antwified’ In September

September promises to be electrifying with a live virtual concert from Ghana’s Afro-pop maestro, Kojo Antwi. The live concert dubbed ‘Get Kojo Antwified’ comes off on the 5th and 6th of September, 2020. The two evenings of classical music and love songs from Mr. Music Man will be hosted on Doremi. Also, the audience will have the chance to request their favourite song and have it played during the live show.

Julius Kojo Antwi, also known as “Mr. Music Man”, is a Ghanaian Afro-pop, highlife, and reggae musical artist. He has served the Ghanaian music industry with classical albums like Densu, Afrafra amongst others.
