We Are Pleased With Johnson Smith- Kotoko Comms Director David Obeng

Acting Communications Manager for Asante Kotoko, David Obeng Nyako says the club is pleased with stopgap coach johnson Smith following good performances lately.
Kotoko after having a slow start in the Ghana Premier League have seen an upturn in performance in the last three games winning two of them.
The Porcupines showed head coach Maxwell Konadu the exit in December with Smith taking over for the meantime while Kotoko search for new technical head.
Speaking with Prestea base Energy FM, the sit-in director of communications said the club is happy with interim coach Smith but are in process to decide whether or not to keep him.
“We believe it is a gradual process and this is the level we want the club to operate. We know with more determination and aggressiveness we will get there. Although it takes time, the supporters should have patience and I know gradually the team will take shape.”
“Johnson Smith is our interim coach and we are impressed with his output so far. But we are in talks as to the next line of our technical team. So we are still in talks and very soon will conclude and announce to the public whether we will maintain the structure or will bring in a new coach.”
