Our focus is to bring Ghana to the UK, whether we like it or not, there are Ghanaians up here who need to know what is going on and to be able to take informed decisions and that is what we hope to achieve.”

Commenting on topics that the show will touch on, he said, “we will touch on politics, economy, health, finances, I mean things that will make life better. Resource people who will be on the show are people well vested in the topics that will discuss. We do not want to open our doors to just anyone, research will be done into the background of anyone who will be on the show as a resource person, this way, when they talk, they do so with an authority.”

Nkosuohene who couldn’t hide his excitement about hosting such a show said, “I am really privileged to be the one championing this course, I have been one person who believed that the youth have what it takes to make Ghana a better place so we have to start taking up positions such as these and I am excited walking the talk. I believe this is just a stepping stone to greater things.”

On why anyone should tune in to watch such a show, he said, “this is for us the youth, this is the platform that we can discuss us and anything related to us. So irrespective of who you are, your age or what you do, there is something for you, it will be entertaining and very educative as well.”

Ace broadcaster, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, popularly known as KKD has, in a recent interview with Fiifi Prat on Kingdom FM, lashed out at colleague media personalities for not rallying their enormous support behind him when he was alledged to have raped a 19-year-old Ewuraffe Orleans Thompson at a hotel washroom. Though he denied the charge of rape, maintaining his sexual encounter with the teenager was with her consent, the ace broadcaster feels the media could have done more to exonerate his brand.

He was arrested on 27 December 2014 following a report accusing him of raping a 19-year-old woman in the bathroom of the African Regent Hotel in Accra, Ghana. He was formally charged with rape. On 12 January 2015, the 19-year-old alleged victim expressed her disinterest in pursuing the case. She consequently communicated her decision to the police and made copies of letters available to the Director of Prosecutions, the Registrar of the High Court and the Chief Justice.

KKD was freed and the rape charge against him was dropped on 22 April 2015 after the Attorney General entered a nolle prosequi for the case.
