“Sun Momi” is a Yoruba word that means (come closer to me). The Mega Superstar sings for his lady, the only one he was to see in the morning, call when lonely and give his all. He tells her to draw closer to him so he can love her tenderly. Korede Bello hasn’t been consistent with the release of songs for a while now, his last effort was mid 2019 with the song ‘The Way You Are‘ after serving us with ‘Mr Vendor‘ earlier in April.

Kofi Mole Drops New Street Anthem “Feeling Good”



After making waves with his last single ‘Makoma’, award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Kofi Mole, has dropped a new street anthem titled ‘Feeling Good’. The new song, produced by Qwesiking, with a music video directed by Kumordzi reflects the tough struggles Kofi Mole has been through at a point in his life.

“I went through hard times which affected me in some ways, both emotionally and physically. I couldn’t keep the joy to myself when I had relief. It was a good one. I put that feeling in a song,” he said.

The song also advises young people to always smile in the midst of storm come what may.

“I want to tell every young person out there that they should never stress too much about situations. Keep moving, focus on the good things, better days ahead. Always have a good day full of smiles.”

Born Edward Kofi Agyemang Amoah, Kofi Mole is signed to N.G.A. He is a 2019 3Music Award and VGMA hip-hop song of the year winner. He also has some hit EPs titled ‘No Gentlemen Allowed’ and ‘Aposor Love’.

Rocky Dawuni Premieres Video For “Ghost Town” [STREAM HERE]



GRAMMY nominated Ghanaian singer, songwriter, producer and activist, Rocky Dawuni just released a new EP entitled “Voice of Bunbon, Vol. 1” “Ghost Town” from the EP will be the subject of the first video from the title which is already in heavy rotation on Southern California radio station KCRW’s influential “Morning Becomes Eclectic” program with DJ Anne Lit.

“Ghost Town” premiered on Rocky’s Facebook page and “waved” through the SINE Network at 11am PST on Thursday, November 19 and was made available via Rocky’s YouTube channel. The video was directed by Casey Bridges, son of Beau Bridges from the legendary Bridges acting family who co-directed Rocky’s beautiful “Champion Arise” video which was released earlier this year from his last full length album “Beats of Zion.”

Ghost Town” speaks to some of the greatest challenges we face as a human family today. Rocky’s lyrics echo the refrain so many are feeling around the world at this time. His voice brings us together as he sings out from the lowest valleys to the highest peaks. Filming this video with Rocky and friends was an opportunity to collaborate with inspirational artists who share music and a vision of rising above to realize a brighter tomorrow.” – Casey Bridges         

The vision of the video was to highlight and articulate a world in crisis. It was filmed in the alleys of the Oakwood neighborhood of Venice, California often referred to as “Ghost Town” which has been dealing with massive gentrification issues. The video also visually touches on the critical issue of homelessness in America which is exacerbated by current events and which continues to elude any lasting solutions. Major parts of the video were also filmed in the Topanga / Malibu area of the scenic Santa Monica Mountains to bring a sense of hope and redemption which the song seeks to portray amidst the chaos. The final scenes of the video come full circle to an intimate backyard jam with cameo appearances by Latin GRAMMY sensation Debi Nova, Mermans Mosengo & Jason Tamba of the Playing for Change band, singer / songwriter Jillian Speer, Kenyan percussionist & DJ Oneko Arika and artist / healer Onyi Love which depicts the importance of community and the triumphant power of human connection.”  – Rocky Dawuni

Voice of Bunbon” (pronounced “boon-bon”) explores the diversity of Rocky’s “Afro Roots” sound fusing modern and traditional musical trends in Ghana and across the continent. The EP is a diverse sonic experience with songs ranging from acoustic to beat driven anthems to cultural explorations utilizing aspects of Afrobeats, Highlife, Reggae, Soul, Pop and beyond.

The inspirational words to the songs focus on love, resilience, faith, joy and hope. DJ Cuppy Shows Off New Piercing In Colorful “Karma” Video With Stonebwoy [WATCH]



In September when the government of Ghana opened borders to enable free movement of people between jurisdictions with few or no restrictions on movement, Ghana’s reggae & dancehall star, Stonebwoy, to continue his music business activities which were marred with global pandemic, Coronavirus (COVID-19). With an unfinished business with award-winning female disc jockey and musician, Stonebwoy met with Cuppy in the UK to shoot visuals of their widely accepted track – Karma.

Cuppy, born Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, hosted Stonebwoy in the UK as they prepared to serve consumers with the official music video of the chart topping single off the former’s debut album dubbed “Original Copy”. As part of generating the much needed buzz to propagate the project, Stonebwoy shared an instagram live video, where the two were seen cruising in Cuppy’s newly acquired famous pink Ferrari after she took ‘1 GAD’ to the salon to get a new hairstyle for the much-anticipated video.

Finally, Cuppy and Stonebwoy have shared the sizzling video for their fiery anthem out 18th November. The fun-loving official video for ‘Karma’ sees Cuppy and Stonebwoy trade smooth verses as they dance and kick back in a relaxed party environment – a perfect match for the track’s seductive dancehall beats. It’s certainly a fun clip – the pair embody exuberance, and their care-free approach practically explodes out of the screen.

The playful official video for the standout-cut is an ideal visual accompaniment for the feelgood vibes of the track itself which was recorded at Stonebowy’s studio in Ghana.

Cuppy comments: “‘Karma’ was recorded on a trip to Stonebwoy’s studio in Ghana and it was really one of my best studio experiences. I really wanted the video to reflect the energy we had in the studio, good vibes and fun.”

“My vision for the video was a fun and upbeat vibe. It’s been a really tough year and I wanted a video that would be an escape from the present reality. I hope everyone enjoys the video as much as myself and Stonebwoy enjoyed being on set,” She added

Stonebwoy adds: “‘Karma’ is a big tune with a super clean video to match it… The whole process was big vibes. Cuppy is a sister and this one will defo go far’!’
