Kamelyeon Laments About The Difficulties Covid Has Exposed Him To

Ghanaian dancehall act, Kamelyeon, has bitterly blamed the global pandemic for his active work on stage. Though he believes the whole new virtual experience of performances are also cool, he does miss the real one-on-one connection with the fans while performing on stage. He was on interview with Kweku Delicious on Pan Africa TV on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
“I really miss performances that engage my audiences directly. And I blame COVID-19 for it. If this virus were not to be with us by now I would have been out there playing different stages back to back and finding more platforms to promote my ‘Rainbow’ EP. My streaming numbers for the EP are looking good but I am an artiste who loves to engage my fans directly and that comes with the gigs and engagements with them face to face”, Kamelyeon lamented.
His 6-tracked EP has crept over 60,000 streams on Audiomack, Boomplay Music and YouTube. He launched it on November 13, 2020. Listen to his “Rainbow” EP here: https://mipromo.ffm.to/kamelyeon-rainbow
