GPLWK8: Struggling Legon Cities Hand WAFA Second Successive Defeat In Accra

WAFA has suffered their second consecutive loss at the Accra Sports Stadium after Legon Cities had one over the Academy Boys.
Two weeks after a defeat to Olympics, Joseph Adjei ensured that the Royals down WAFA again on matchday 8.
Cities themselves had to wait until week 8 to record what is their first win in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Head Coach, Bashiru Hayford might be pleased with score line but has a work on his hand regarding scoring from open play.
Adjei’s winner from the spot is the club’s third goal all season but are the only side yet to score from open play. Thus, the total three goals scored this season are from penalty kicks.
However, the Royals after the much awaited win has moved one place up to last but one position on the table overtaking King Faisal.
Next on the schedule for Legon Cities is a visit to Dormaa to play Aduana Stars on matchday 9 at Nana Agyemang Badu I park.
