Music duo Keche joins hiplife artist TiC as part of the top notch artists who will perform tonight at the “IAMTiC” concert which will be staged at the Bokom Boxing Arena.
The event, which is slated for today, Friday, the 21st of December at the Bokom Boxing Arena, which has a sitting capacity of about 4,000 is organized to thrill fans ahead of the festive season and another platform for the rapper to share with fans his journey in the music industry and to bring them up to speed on his current projects and his future endeavors.
The ”Next Level” hit makers will today join other well celebrated Ghanaian arts to thrill fans as they believe in Tic’s vision to continually give fans that the entertainment they miss from him.
Other artists lined up for the night includes; music group VVIP, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, NeroX, Tinny and Guru. As if that is not enough, Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame, Article wan, AK songstress, Nii Funny, Donzy and Ayesem will also give fans some electrifying performances. To intersperse music with comedy, another team made up of Bukom Banku, Comedian DKB and actress Rosemond Brown is set to crack the ribs of the fans.
The event will be piloted by Merqury Quaye, host of Cruise Control on Hitz FM. DJ’s for the night includes; Dj Black, Andy Dosty, Dj Kaxto, Dj Toyoo and Dj Mix.

Joe Boy To Perform At YouTube “Stay Home With Me” Virtual Festival
LAGOS STATE – Thursday, April 9, 2020/www.gbafrica.net/ – American online video-sharing platform, YouTube, has announced a new festival line-up for this year’s Easter weekend celebrations that will kick off on Good Friday with performances from some of the continent’s best-known gospel artists including heavyweights like South Africa’s Benjamin Dube, and Mthunzi Namba, alongside Nigerian gospel superstars Nosa and Glowreeyah Braimah.

YouTube’s Stay Home #WithMe festival kicked off two weekends ago in response to lockdown regulations in countries like South Africa and Nigeria. Global Citizen Lines Up Burna Boy, Lizzo, Stevie Wonder On A Historic Concert.
Global Citizen, the organization behind the recent ‘Together At Home’ virtual concert featuring John Legend, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Chris Martin, Niall Horan, Miguel and more, has teamed up with the World Health Organization (WHO) to announce a special concert just for you.
The event tagged One World: Together At Home will kick off on Saturday, April 18, with the aim of celebrating and supporting healthcare workers, and will feature real experiences from doctors, nurses and families around the world.
It also features a thrilling lineup of artists curated by Lady Gaga, including, Burna Boy the only African, and other stars like Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan and Stevie Wonder.

TANZANIA/ ACCES 2020 Showcases Call For Application
DAR ES SALAAM – Wednesday, April 8, 2020/www.gbafrica.net/ – The Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases (ACCES) invites African musicians based on the continent to apply for an opportunity to showcase at ACCES 2020 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from 26 to 28 November.
ACCES, which is organised by the Music In Africa Foundation (MIAF) in a different African city every year, will offer a robust programme and platforms for performers to showcase their talent to a diverse audience of local and international delegates, including festival curators, promoters, booking agents, record labels and other influential audiences.
Launched in Dakar in 2017 and held in Nairobi in 2018 and Accra in 2019, the event includes training workshops, industry talks, keynotes, live performances, networking sessions, a collaborative recording studio, exhibitions and visits to key music industry hubs in the host city.
The application deadline is 30 April 2020 (midnight CAT).
Who can apply?
ACCES showcases are meant for emerging musicians who can deliver outstanding live performances and are ready for the international stage. ACCES’ curators are also looking for musicians who will genuinely benefit from the opportunity to boost their careers internationally. As this event is happening in Tanzania, emphasis will also be on local bands with a view to showcase the best in Tanzanian live music.
1. This call is open to African musicians (solo artists, bands, DJs etc.) based on the continent.
2. All genres are welcome.
3. Applicants should be export-ready.
4. All participants must be over 18 years old.
5. All applications must be based on live performances and original music. No backing tracks.
NOTE: Performances supporting political parties or religious faith will not be permissible.
6. Applicants should be prepared to be available for the duration of ACCES and to perform on any of the dates (26-28 November 2020).
7. Applications can be submitted by the artists themselves or by the artists/bands’ representatives (managers, publishers, labels, agents and promoters.
Support from ACCES
1. Performers will receive a modest honorarium.
2. Performers will be provided with local transport (related to the performance).
3. Performers from outside Dar es Salaam will be provided accommodation (related to the performance).
4. Performers from outside Dar es Salaam will receive a per diem.
5. VISA costs will be reimbursed against receipts.
6. Performers will be granted full access passes to all ACCES activities.
7. Performers will be promoted across the Music In Africa and ACCES platforms. (programme, newsletters, press releases, website, social media).
8. ACCES will provide regular sound and lights plus basic shared backline.
9. ACCES will provide media exposure.
10. ACCES will provide tools for the performers and their reps to get in touch with new contacts and audiences, as well as B2B meetings.
NOTE: Musicians based outside Dar es Salaam should be prepared to provide own funding for transport costs to and from Dar es Salaam. The Music In Africa Foundation will strive to support musicians to apply for funding from available networks and partners but cannot guarantee that this will be successful, so please be sure that you are prepared for this before you apply. One band manager only may be included in the travelling party and benefit from the same support offered by ACCES as the performing band members.

Once you have control of your profile, make sure to update the information.
3. Complete and submit the online application form (the link is provided at the end of this call). Two application forms are provided – in French and English. Email applications will not be considered.

Recap of Shatta Wale’s Faith Concert
Ghanaian Dancehall act, Shatta Wale, prior to the lockdown observed in the country, announced he would be having a free concert online for his fans to raise their spirits whiles dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
Shatta Wale promised to go all out for fans with the Faith Concert and he did that. He mounted a very big stage over his pool at home, got a band to perform with and also his team was there to support him as well, the likes of Bulldog, the Militants and others.
The concert which was live on youtube lasted for two hours, and was observed by his fans all over the country, amounting to over 185,000 viewers.
Before the concert, the Melissa hitmaker, shared over 300cedis worth of credit on social media for all the available networks in Ghana.
